Method Preparation

All the split grams (Dals) in are split from the whole gram using traditional methods such as hand chakki.

No colours are added nor is the dal polished unlike what you in traditional grocery stores.

The cover of Red Gram Split (Tur Dal) contains Folic acid which vanishes on adding colour and polishing which creates deficiency of Folic Acid in the body. Then we have to take tablets to increase the level of that acid, especially during pregnancy.
