Product Details

Stone-grinded and skin is removed Whole Urad is dehusked and split in two parts to form this creamy white split washed urad dal AP, MP, Maharashtra, TN, UP.

Technical Information

Usage Instructions: Used in purees and soup. It is also mixed with rice to prepare batter for idli, dosa.

Storage Instructions: It can be stored indefinitely in an airtight container in a cool, dry location. Cooked urad dal should be stored in the refrigerator and can be used for up to 3 or 4 days.

Packaging Details: Moisture resistant paper bag that is biodegradable and compostable.

Shelf Life: 6 months - 1 year

Method Preparation

All the split grams (Dals) in are split from the whole gram using traditional methods such as hand chakki. Also, no colours are added unlike what is seen regularly today. Also, no polishing.
